Noah Blades has gained a reputation in the Indianapolis area as a dedicated instructor and performer. Noah brings to students 2 decades of playing experience coupled with 12 years of guitar studies with Bob and Tom guitarist, Charlie Smith, as well as his experience working with Indianapolis jazz great, Bill Lankton. He has also studied with Elton John’s touring guitarist and gypsy jazz expert John Jorgensen. Noah was featured on W.F.Y.I. television network as a special guest in the 2007 Jazz Summit.
Years of study, recording, and performing live shows help make Noah a perfect instructor for students of all ages and levels. He focuses his lessons on making guitar fun and easy to understand by catering each lesson to the individual student’s skill level and taste. Noah specializes in playing rock, jazz and blues with an emphasis on improvisation and soloing, as well as instructing students on reading notation for jazz band and school music programs.
