Composer, multi-instrumentalist, artist, photographer; Doug is co-founder of the Indianapolis based band Blueprintmusic, he performed on, produced, and engineered their three studio CD’s; “Released”, “Ghosts and Eskimos”, and “Slow Pace Quickening” as well as “ACT Live”, a live recording from the Cabaret Theater. His unique approach to the guitar, banjo, mandolin, & fiddle blend elements of traditional and modern music styles and crosses through a wide variety of genres. Through his years of recording, writing, and performing in various ensembles he has managed to create a matchless style that can be identified as his own. Doug can be also heard performing with the Maple Trio and on their recordings “Samara” and “A Carrollton Christmas”. He also has a solo CD of instrumental compositions titled “Sketches”. He is currently performing with The Midwest Rhythm Exchange and Sarah Grain & The Billions of Stars.
